Some Random Things About Georgia...

1. They use styrofoam cups EVERYWHERE.

2. They use twist ties for their bread instead of those little plastic square clips.

3. You can't buy alcohol on Sundays. And you can only buy beer and wine at the grocery store, everything else you have to buy at a "package" store (liquor store).

4. There is a MINIMUM speed posted on the freeyway.

5. Every road has 13 names... OK well it is more like 4 or 5 but still talk about confusing!

6. Everyone gives you directions by exit numbers. So instead of exit at Riverstone Parkway, it is exit at number 19. REALLY confusing!

My little guy is 4 years old. Where did the time go? He had a great birthday. We went bowling in the morning and then had a party with the neighbor kids over. It was a wonderful day for a special boy!

First Day of School...

I can't believe Dylan is going to Preschool! He is such a big boy. He likes going to the "Bunny Room" which is his classroom and although he can't remember his teacher's name, she is "fancy dancy" according to him.

Moving is so much fun!!! :)

The cows got out...

We were sitting in the house and noticed some random cows walking around. It was a windy day so their gate must have blown open and they decided to go for a stroll!

We were driving through a housing community and heard bells. We realized there was a church in the middle that the music was coming from. Sorry the video is shaky. I was trying to zoom in to get the stain glass windows. It was so pretty!

My first day in Georgia....

Well, I made it through my first day. It was nice, sunny, 85-90 degrees and the humidity was the same as California the past couple weeks. We went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and I had sweet tea - yummy! We drove around looking at different areas, then came back home for a cat nap. We hung around the house (in a jet-lagged fog), went to the grocery store and got food for dinner and snacks. The moving truck will be here tomorrow or Friday with all of our stuff - Woo Hoo!

A couple of months back, Dylan and I went out with Chris to show some houses. We were sitting in the car, waiting for Chris. Dylan had been asking about getting out of his car seat and I kept telling him no. Here is what was said...
Dylan asked, "Mommy, can you do me a favor?"
I replied, "Maybe, what is it?"
Dylan said, "Can you go and pick yourself a blue flower for me?"
I looked out my window and there were beautiful blue flowers growing on the hill. Talk about making my heart melt! He's my little guy!
